Episode 1 takes us to Hamilton, ON, where Jason introduces Lori to her first time clipping her feet into a road bike, after a pre-ride espresso at Cafe Domestique. Being an experienced cycling hobbyist, Jason is sure to ease Lori into the experience - gingerly suggesting challenges at small increments, and providing encouragement at every step of the way. Lori responds with loving gestures to show her appreciation for the moral support.
